Fun in the sun! It was a perfect day to have some fun with your car at last weekend's 'Drive Everything' event. The only downside.....sunburn. We had fantastic variety of cars, including a Factory Five 427 AC Cobra, Delta Integrale Evo II, Porsche 911, Cadillac ATS-V and more! Folks took advantage of the relaxed atmosphere and went on plenty of ride-alongs and test drives.

Thank you to Robb Newby and his team at GodSpeed Fabrication for hosting a wonderful tech session yesterday. It's truly impressive what these guys can do with metal. Everything from fabricating roll cages for PRO3 BMW racecars to designing/building a Mack Truck hot rod.
A small group of lucky Avants members got a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity last weekend to visit the Automobili Lamborghini Advanced Composite Structures Laboratory (a.k.a the "Lambo Lab").
Lava Orange 911? More like "Cone" Orange :) We had another great 'Drive Everything' event this past Sunday at Emerald Downs. Participants got the opportunity to try out three different courses.....a slalom, a skidpad and a long autocross-style course featuring plenty of twists and turns.

That escalated quickly! The weather at Sunday's 'Drive Everything' event at Emerald Downs started out relatively pleasant, but things changed quickly when the hurricane arrived! It's a good thing that folks were able to get plenty of driving in before the weather turned south.
What a great way to celebrate the first sunny day in Seattle in months! Avants members got a private tour of Authentic Motorcars and the opportunity to go for a ride in some amazing automobiles including a BMW 2002Tii, Porsche 356B, Porsche 911 2.7, Ferrari 328 GTS and Lancia Montecarlo.

Participants got the opportunity to drive a bunch of amazing cars by swapping with other members on a closed-course. Exercises included a Slalom, Figure-8, Small Auto-X course and a Straightaway.
