The Avants mobile app is now live on iOS and Android! Browse cars, swipe right and get connected with other Avants members who would like to swap cars. Sort of like Tinder, but better! Meet up with fellow Avants members and go for a drive together.
Thanks to everyone that participated in the inaugural 'Drive Everything' event at Pacific Raceways. Participants got the opportunity to drive a bunch of amazing cars by swapping with other members on a closed-course.

Real life or Forza screenshot? I'm super excited to work with the folks over at Forza Motorsport for an in-depth look at the Avants CTS-V wagon. When you think about it, Avants and Forza are very similar in a lot of ways. Both programs give people the opportunity to drive a wide range of amazing cars, except one is virtual and the other is in real-life. Another key difference is that Forza is all about speed, whereas Avants is about really experiencing all of the nuances of a car (sound, smell, steering wheel texture, handling, etc).
Avants members got a "2 for 1" Tech Session last Sunday with demonstrations from Dent Solutions and Eastside Auto Salon. Doug from Dent Solutions gave us an up-close look at the tools and techniques that are used to safely and effectively remove dents. Joey and Ben from Eastside Auto Salon showed us some of the methods that they use to remove scratches and some of the benefits of Xpel paint protection film.

Thank you to the folks at Stew's Self Service Garage in Kirkland for hosting a BBQ and Tech Session last Sunday. Stew gave Avants members an up-close-and-personal look at the various components that make up modern exhaust systems. Everything from catalytic converters, test pipes, cut-outs, resonators, mufflers, etc. It was education AND entertaining!
Last Sunday, Avants members got a special hands-on tutorial from the experts at Griot's Garage on how to properly care for their car's paint. Members took the opportunity to ask the folks at Griot's all sorts of questions about Griot's products (e.g. "what's the difference between Speed Shine and Spray-On Car Wash?") as well as general detailing questions (e.g. "what's the best way to get wax off of black plastic?").
Like kids in a candy store! On Sunday morning, Avants members got a special opportunity to experience some amazing cars from Park Place LTD including a Lotus Evora 400, Superformance Cobra Roadster and Aston Martin DB11.

That was the universal response from Avants members after driving the Tesla P100D. It was truly an unforgettable experience. The stats help tell the story.....the Model S does 0-60 in 2.3 seconds, while the Model X does it in 2.9 seconds (for a 6,500lb SUV!)
The inaugural PNW WagonFest was everything that we had hoped it would be.....and more! Everywhere that you looked, there was an awesome wagon/touring/estate/avant. Tons of roof boxes, "Grocery Getter" stickers and third row seats! It was absolutely fantastic!
