Avants 'Drive Everything' at Emerald Downs on 3/4
That escalated quickly! The weather at Sunday's 'Drive Everything' event at Emerald Downs started out relatively pleasant, but things changed quickly when the hurricane arrived! It's a good thing that folks were able to get plenty of driving in before the weather turned south.
Avants Tech Session & Ride-Along Event at Authentic Motorcars
What a great way to celebrate the first sunny day in Seattle in months! Avants members got a private tour of Authentic Motorcars and the opportunity to go for a ride in some amazing automobiles including a BMW 2002Tii, Porsche 356B, Porsche 911 2.7, Ferrari 328 GTS and Lancia Montecarlo.
Avants 'Drive Everything' at Pacific Raceways on 2/4
Not a bad way to spend a rainy Sunday in February! Thank you to everyone that came out to Sunday's 'Drive Everything' event at Pacific Raceways.
Participants got the opportunity to drive a bunch of amazing cars by swapping with other members on a closed-course. Exercises included a Slalom, Figure-8, Small Auto-X course and a Straightaway.

Lancias, Teslas, Alfas, oh my! Great seeing everyone today at The Shop! A little rain and wind never hurt anybody! Lots of great ride-alongs and swaps. Thanks to everyone that made this event such a success.

Thanks to everyone that braved the weather and came out to Saturday's 'Drive Everything' event at Pacific Raceways. The wet surface made everything more fun! Participants got the opportunity to drive some amazing cars including an Audi S6 and SQ5 (courtesy of Audi Seattle) and a VW Atlas (courtesy of Auburn VW)

Avants Featured on Forza Motorsport
Real life or Forza screenshot? I'm super excited to work with the folks over at Forza Motorsport for an in-depth look at the Avants CTS-V wagon. When you think about it, Avants and Forza are very similar in a lot of ways. Both programs give people the opportunity to drive a wide range of amazing cars, except one is virtual and the other is in real-life. Another key difference is that Forza is all about speed, whereas Avants is about really experiencing all of the nuances of a car (sound, smell, steering wheel texture, handling, etc).
Avants Tech Session with Dent Solutions and Eastside Auto Salon
Avants members got a "2 for 1" Tech Session last Sunday with demonstrations from Dent Solutions and Eastside Auto Salon. Doug from Dent Solutions gave us an up-close look at the tools and techniques that are used to safely and effectively remove dents. Joey and Ben from Eastside Auto Salon showed us some of the methods that they use to remove scratches and some of the benefits of Xpel paint protection film.
