MIXTAPE SoCal was epic!
San Diego brought out the 90’s vibes for MIXTAPE SoCal and made it a party! Bringing together some great cars, cool tricks, and amazing people.
We had everything there! A half-pipe, ramps, rails, and vintage BMX bikes on display. Amazing tacos and Monster energy drinks kept the guests and the riders fueled while the live DJ on Control Entertainment’s insane truck pumped up the 90s classics we all know and love. There was even a barber cutting hair and a Porsche 911 being hand-painted! Slate Auto brought out their custom wrapped truck for the event and it even had a skate ramp attached. the community brought plenty of retro cars to remind us about that analog era of vehicles we grew up with, plus the quirky stuff like a Ghostbusters wagon and some lowrider cars bouncing on hydraulics. It was certainly a party to remember, a celebration of a great era in cars, skate, and BMX.
Thanks again to Analog & Grit for letting us turn their warehouse into a BMX and Skate park. Also big thanks to Bucky Lasek and Eddie Fiola for coming out to ride and meet so many people in the community.
