Cuore Sportivo — An Italian Affair
Last Saturday, we partnered with Alfa Romeo of Seattle and the Northwest Alfa Romeo Club to present Cuore Sportivo — An Italian Affair, a morning celebrating the cars, stories, and people behind one of Italy's most storied automotive brands.
Over 100 enthusiasts joined us as the dealership showroom was transformed into a showcase of Alfas spanning nearly a century. From the prewar 8C 2300 and coachbuilt 1900 SSZ Zagato to the modern 8C Competizione, the lineup offered a rare opportunity to experience the evolution of Alfa Romeo under one roof.
The cars set the stage for a panel discussion moderated by John Schommer, featuring Fred Russell, Tom Nuxoll, David Smith, and Alice Truong. Drawing on their own experiences, the panelists explored Alfa Romeo's racing heritage, design philosophy, and the qualities that have earned the brand such a passionate following.
A special thank you to Sarah Brummett-Graeber, the Perrina family, and the Alfa Romeo of Seattle team for welcoming us into their showroom. We're equally grateful to the Northwest Alfa Romeo Club for their partnership, our speakers for sharing their knowledge, and the vehicle owners who generously made their cars available for the display.
Cuore Sportivo translates to Sporting Heart, a fitting name for a morning that celebrated not only the cars themselves, but the people and passion that keep Alfa Romeo's story alive.
