Who was Matt Ammon? Matt bought a new Nogaro Blue Audi S4 in 2001 and became very active in local chapters of Audi Club North America in Ohio, Illinois, Virginia, and Missouri before coming to the Seattle area. Tragically, he was taken from us later that year when a construction crane collapsed. He was a big proponent of driver education and brought his enthusiasm and knowledge to ACNW. When asked about what car modifications to make, Matt would be quick to answer, “The first mod should be driving school".
Audi Club Northwest has been running High Performance Driving Education (HPDE) events for over 20 years. We provide a fun, safe, and educational environment to drive your car on the racetrack. Cars of any brand are welcome.
They offer top-notch instruction for beginner to advanced drivers at no extra cost. If you're a beginner (not solo yet), you will be assigned a coach to work 1:1 with you to learn how to get the most out of your car and yourself around the track. Advanced coaching and track orientation are available upon request. Run groups are designed to give drivers of all skill levels quality track time.
