Join Avants and legendary driving coach Ross Bentley for an exclusive three-day driving experience on Vancouver Island.
Limited to just 10 Avants members, the Grand Tour includes a private tour of Coachwerks Restoration, two nights at Villa Eyrie Resort, exceptional dining, and a full day of advanced performance-driving instruction at Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit.
Participants will drive their own cars through a custom one-day program with Ross Bentley and the VIMC coaching team, combining classroom instruction, focused exercises, coached track sessions, and personalized feedback.

Ross Bentley
The centerpiece of the Grand Tour is a private day at Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit with Ross Bentley, founder of Speed Secrets (https://speedsecrets.com) and one of the world’s most respected performance-driving coaches.
His career spans Indy cars, prototype and GT racing, and decades of driver development. He captured the 1998 United States Road Racing Championship and an SRP-II class victory at the 2003 24 Hours of Daytona, driving cars such as the Ferrari 333SP and factory BMW M3 along the way. Beyond his own racing career, Ross has trained more than 10,000 drivers and coached over 100 series champions.
VAncouver island motorsport circuit
Designed by Tilke Engineers & Architects, the firm behind many of the world’s Formula 1 and MotoGP circuits, Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit (https://islandmotorsportcircuit.com) is a technical 2.3-kilometer road course featuring 19 corners and 98 meters of elevation change.
Using their own vehicles, drivers will take part in a custom program combining classroom instruction, coached track sessions, and driver debriefs. The experience is designed to build confidence, sharpen technique, and develop a deeper understanding of both the car and the person behind the wheel.
COACHWERKS RESTORATION
Coachwerks Restoration (www.coachwerks.com) is one of Canada’s premier destinations for the preservation and restoration of significant classic automobiles. Based in Victoria, the internationally recognized workshop has spent more than three decades earning a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, historical accuracy, and uncompromising attention to detail.
Members will step inside Coachwerks for a private tour of its renowned restoration facility. The visit will offer an up-close look at current projects and the historical research, traditional techniques, and meticulous craftsmanship required to return significant automobiles to their original form.
Villa Eyrie Resort
Perched atop the Malahat Summit, Villa Eyrie Resort (www.villaeyrie.com) offers sweeping views of the Saanich Inlet and Olympic Mountains. Its quiet setting, European-inspired accommodations, and close proximity to Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit make it an ideal home base for the Grand Tour.
Throughout the stay, guests will enjoy meals at Alpina Restaurant and a private cocktail reception in the motorsport-inspired Senna Bar & Lounge. It’s an opportunity to relax, recharge, and spend time with fellow Avants members before and after the circuit experience.
